About Me

devoted to the joy of anime and preserving our planets resources

Many anime series and video games have eco-friendly themes. These range from protecting the Earth from dangerous forces, evident in Final Fantasy VII, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. There also series that tend to be childish yet instill the values of respecting the environment and the creatures within it, such as Pokemon. The very culture that spawns these creations also have deep seeded beliefs in the protection of our surroundings. Shinto is an animistic belief system, which attribute souls to beings other than humans, such as plants, animals, and the environment.
